About Team (Push)Uplift and Our Challenge
This June, we're taking on The Push-Up Challenge between 4-26 June, 2025 to raise funds and awareness for mental health.
Each participant will complete 3,214 push-ups in 23 days, from 4-26 June 2025. This represents the number of lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2023 (the most recent available data). You can also opt to do the half-challenge of 1,607 push-ups.
You can modify your push-up or substitute the push ups for any other activity, or combination of activities, that your body is capable of (no, Barney, not farts. Although that would be impressive, even for you).
In all seriousness, it's just about getting people moving more than they normally do, and thinking more than they normally do about those in society who are struggling in different ways.

Each day comes with push-up/activity daily goal and a particular aspect of mental health awareness.

If you do want to do pushups, the app has a 4 week training program to help you prepare for greatness!
I will also be creating a WhatsApp group for our Team, and will be posting the Training in there. Training starts at the beginning of May (although no time like the present, why not start with some standing wall push ups?) so sign up soon! The group will be used for encouragement and helping each other smash our goals! I will also be posting the daily challenge, as each day has a different daily goal of pushups related to mental health facts.
