3,307 Push-Ups with Bridget
I’m taking on 3,307 push-ups over 24 days — representing the 3,307 Australians who lost their lives to suicide in 2024.
This is my first ever fitness challenge, and while exercise is already a big part of my life, I’m excited (and a little nervous!) to see what I’m capable of. I lean on movement to support my mental health, and this challenge is pushing that to a whole new level — physically and mentally. All push-ups will be on my toes.
I’m taking on this challenge with my team, the Innovation Legends 2026 with BAE Systems Australia.
I’m raising funds for Lifeline Adelaide, an organisation committed to preventing suicide, supporting people in crisis, and promoting mental health and emotional wellbeing. But just as importantly, I’m here to raise awareness — especially for people in my age group, 25–40.
I feel like people in this age group often fly under the radar when it comes to mental health support. It’s a stage of life filled with pressure — building careers, managing finances, navigating relationships, raising families, and trying to “hold it all together.” It can mean putting yourself last, and not speaking up when things feel heavy.
These push-ups are about more than fitness — they’re about starting conversations, checking in with colleagues, friends, and family, and reminding each other that we don’t have to do it all alone.
And if you’d like to support the cause, I’d be incredibly grateful. Maybe it’s the cost of your daily coffee — or even a coffee and croissant — redirected to something that could help save a life. (Coffee and exercise are two things that help my mental health too, so it feels fitting.)
Every donation helps Lifeline continue their vital work — and every bit of support means more than you know.
If this challenge helps even one person reach out, speak up, or check in on someone they care about, that’s what truly matters.
Supporting Lifeline Adelaide SA
Lifeline Adelaide saves lives. And somewhere in Australia, there is a new call to Lifeline every 30 seconds.
We are committed to preventing suicide, supporting people in crisis, and promoting good mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Every year, we answer more than 36,000 calls from people experiencing crisis. Our dedicated team of Crisis Supporters are here to listen and offer support and, where appropriate, refer people to other services that can help.
This year Push Up to raise awareness and funds for Lifeline Adelaide.
