3,307 Push-Ups with Bridget
I’m completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia with my team, the Innovation Legends.
Even though fitness is a big part of my life, this is my first ever fitness challenge and so I’m excited to see what I’m capable of.
I’m raising funds for Lifeline Adelaide and pushing myself physically to help start more conversations around mental health.
I’m taking on this challenge to #PushForBetter mental health awareness, particularly for people in my age bracket, aged 25–40. This stage of life can come with intense pressure — careers, finances, relationships, family responsibilities and the expectation to “have it all together.” Mental health struggles can go unnoticed or unspoken.
If this challenge can encourage even one person to speak up, check in on a mate, or seek support, then every push-up is worth it.
Supporting Lifeline Adelaide SA
Lifeline Adelaide saves lives. And somewhere in Australia, there is a new call to Lifeline every 30 seconds.
We are committed to preventing suicide, supporting people in crisis, and promoting good mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Every year, we answer more than 36,000 calls from people experiencing crisis. Our dedicated team of Crisis Supporters are here to listen and offer support and, where appropriate, refer people to other services that can help.
This year Push Up to raise awareness and funds for Lifeline Adelaide.
