About My Challenge

This June, I will be joining my school in The Push-Up Challenge to support mental health and raise money for headspace. Headspace is an important organisation that provides information and resources to schools and has supported over a million young people across Australia. My goal is to raise $200 by completing 1,654 push-ups between 3–26 June half of the full 3,307, which represents the lives lost to suicide in Australia each year.

I am taking on this challenge to show that talking about mental health and taking action really matters. Every dollar donated helps support young people who are struggling. If you’re able to, I’d be incredibly grateful for your support whether that’s sponsoring my push-ups by making a tax-deductible donation, sharing my fundraising page, or simply starting a conversation about mental health.

Please remember if you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, it is not weak to speak up and seek help.

Supporting headspace

headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services for 12-25 year olds.

Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 175 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.

The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
