About My Challenge
I'm completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
I dedicate these push-ups to my late father who passed away on the 30th of April 2025. Dad battled depression his whole life and sadly fell into addiction as a coping mechanism in the later years of his life. Addiction ultimately claimed his life last year. I wish to dedicate these push-ups to my father and all others who struggle with mental health related addiction so they have the opportunity to find the help they need.
You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to my page.
Every dollar helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.
Dedicated to: Peter Murphy (Dad)
Supporting Lifeline Newcastle & Hunter NSW
Lifeline Hunter is one of the beneficiaries of this year’s The Push-Up Challenge. Together, Lifeline and The Push-Up Challenge, aim to raise awareness about mental health and the impact of suicide on Australians.
Funds raised will enable Lifeline Hunter to continue providing their critical 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services, answer more help seeker contacts, and ensure any person in Australia who needs support knows where and how to find it.
