About Me and why I accept this challenge.

44-year-old Husband. Father. Son. Cancer Survivor. Police Officer.
What’s one more challenge… especially when it’s for a cause that matters.

In 2022, my life changed overnight when I was diagnosed with rectal cancer.
Through radiation, chemotherapy, and major surgeries, I was pushed further than I ever thought possible. Not just physically—but mentally and emotionally too.

There were moments I didn’t recognise myself. Moments where everything I thought defined me was stripped back.

But I wasn’t alone.

With the unwavering support of my wife, my family, my friends, and my colleagues, I began to rebuild. To redefine who I am—and more importantly, what truly matters.

I leaned into difficult conversations. I spoke openly. I sought guidance from psychologists and therapists. And in doing so, I learned something powerful:

Mental health is health.

If you sprain your ankle, you don’t ignore it—you get help. You treat it, you rehab it, because you know if you don’t, it can get worse… even permanent.

Mental health is no different.
Ignoring it doesn’t make it go away.

That’s why I’m stepping up to this challenge.

3,307 push-ups. 24 days. One purpose.

To raise awareness and funds for mental health support across Australia—so more people can access the help they need, when they need it.

You can stand with me by making a tax-deductible donation to my page.

Every dollar goes towards creating better mental health outcomes—funding vital services, resources, and support for those who need it most.

Let’s break the silence. Let’s show up for each other. Let’s push for better.
