Doing it for the mental
I'm completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
For as long as I can remember, depression has been a quiet companion. It showed up before I had the words for it.
When I was 17, I lost my dad. Grief didn't arrive as a wave; it settled in like weather. For a long time, I wasn't sure I'd find my way back to myself.
Therapy changed that. Slowly I started to understand my mind instead of fearing it. I learned that happiness wasn't something to chase down or earn. It was something I could build, one honest conversation at a time. Some days I still struggle. Most days, I don't.
I'm doing this for my younger brother. He's growing up in the same family, with the same loss, and some of the same wiring. I want him to know that asking for help is one of the bravest things a person can do.
Every dollar you give helps make sure someone like him — or like 17-year-old me — doesn't have to wait so long to feel okay again.

Supporting headspace Marion
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
