About Our Challenge

The Stoics

We move because the body remembers.
Every push‑up is a small act of truth — a way to face what’s hard, not hide from it. Trauma doesn’t vanish; it lodges in muscle, breath, and memory. But movement, discipline, and connection can teach the body to let go.

We take our name from the philosophers who understood this centuries ago — Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus — men who believed that obstacles aren’t barriers but pathways. The obstacle is the way.

This June, we’re pushing for better mental health across Australia.
Each rep is a reminder that healing isn’t about erasing the past; it’s about integrating it, breathing it in, and turning it into strength.

Let it be. Let it in. Let it go.
