Sully Miezis

push ups for teen mental health

My name is Sully and I'm completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.

I'm participating in the push up challenge this year to show my support for all the teens and teen boys in specific in my age group that suffer from mental health issues. Studies have shown up to 63 percent of teen age boys feel social pressure to appear strong. Consequently, only third of these struggling teens seek help.

This is too many boys and I feel like a change needs to be made and I'm trying to make one happen one push up at a time.

Every dollar you donate helps headspace  support teens in need.

Please donate to my page to help headspace help them.

Supporting headspace Ballarat

headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.

Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.

The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
