Too close to home...
Six weeks ago, I found out that my neighbours' son had taken his own life in January of this year. What would it be like to come home and find a family member had done that? How do you deal with that, understand it, or even reconcile to that?
If me doing his challenge can incline you to making a donation, and that donation might help even one person to step back from such an irrevocable act, or another to recover from the impacts of such a loss, then that is my effort well spent.
I'm completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to my page.
Every dollar helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.
