EBG Pushes for Better Mental Health
Effective Building Group is taking part in The Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
Across 24 days, our team will be completing 3,307 push-ups to recognise the 3,307 lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2024.
For EBG, this challenge is about more than push-ups. It is about bringing our team together, encouraging conversations around mental health, and supporting a cause that affects many people, families and workplaces.
We are proud to get involved, support each other, and push for better mental health outcomes across our community.

Supporting Lifeline WA
Lifeline WA & The Push-Up Challenge: Supporting Mental Health Across WA
Western Australia is vast, covering nearly one-third of the country, with remote communities, resource sector workers, and FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) employees facing unique mental health challenges.
At least one-third of FIFO workers experience high levels of burnout and psychological distress – impacting not only individuals but also their families and their community. The isolation, high-pressure environments, and extended shifts can take a toll on mental wellbeing.
Thanks to The Push-Up Challenge, funds raised will support Lifeline WA’s critical 24/7/365 crisis services – including phone, text, and chat – ensuring that no one has to face their darkest moments alone. In 2026, our goal is to be the person ready to have a conversation that helps someone feel heard, supported, and understood.
