About My Challenge
From 3 June to 26 June, I'm taking part in The Push-Up Challenge and aiming to complete 3,307 push-ups.
Why 3,307? Because that's the number of Australians who tragically lost their lives to suicide in 2024. Every push-up is a reminder of the importance of mental health awareness, support, and having conversations that can save lives.
I've chosen to fundraise for Headspace Australia, an incredible organisation that provides free and confidential mental health support, counselling, and wellbeing services to young Australians aged 12–25. Last year alone, more than 160,000 young people accessed support through Headspace services across the country.
Mental health affects all of us, either personally or through someone we care about. If you're in a position to donate, any contribution—big or small—would be greatly appreciated. If you'd like to get involved, I encourage you to join the challenge yourself and help raise awareness for this important cause.
Together, we can push for better mental health, one push-up at a time. 💙💪
Supporting headspace
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services for 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 175 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
