About My Challenge
I’m fundraising for mental health awareness by completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days. I’m doing this to help raise awareness about the everyday struggles that mental health can bring — from not wanting to go to work or school, to losing motivation for the hobbies and activities you once loved.
Over the past year, I’ve experienced these challenges firsthand. After a serious knee injury, I spent 10 months rebuilding myself physically and mentally while learning to manage the frustration and setbacks that came with everyday tasks. Just two days after finally being cleared to return to sport, I injured my other knee doing something I love, which sent me straight back to square one.
This challenge in June is about more than just push-ups. It’s about pushing myself mentally and physically, raising awareness for mental health, and hopefully encouraging others to keep going through their own struggles and be the best version of themselves.
