This year, parallel to completing the challenge of 3,307 pushes, and with thanks to the encouragement of TPUC, I am again pushing myself to ‘ADD A ZERO FOR MY HERO’.  My challenge this year is 33,070 pushes in 24 days. My extra goal is in memory of my late brother Matt.  Not only was Matt my big brother, my mate, a leader, graduate, writer, teacher and musician, he remains a hero to me. 

Last year I completed 32,140 push-ups in 23 days to raise monetary support for mental health in Australia.  I also achieved my own personal goal in memory of my late brother, Matthew James Sullivan, who suicided in 2002.   My success last year not only brought an increase to the discussion of mental health, but with generous donations I was able to pass on my total funds raised of almost $3,000.00 to LIFELINE.
