Liza Yelland

About My Challenge

Hello, my name is Liza and I am currently completing year 12 at Baimbridge College. I'm completing 3,214 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia. Each one of the 3,214 push ups are in remembrance to the ones who lost their battle in 2023.
You can show your support towards mental health by making a donation towards my fundraiser. This year Baimbridge College are focussing on good habits and achieving our personal goals.

You, a family member, friend or co-worker may silently be struggling. When was the last time you asked someone if they are okay?

Between 2020 and 2022, out of the 19.8 million Australians aged 16-85 years, over 42% (more then 8 million people) have or are experiencing a mental disorder at some point in their life, and more then 5 million had experienced an anxiety disorder like social phobia or PTSD.

Every dollar donated helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.

Supporting headspace National

headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.

Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.

The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
