About My Challenge

I’m doing the 3,214 push-ups in 23 days challenge because for a long time, I couldn’t do a single one. I was in a bad car accident that left me immobile for years. Recovery was slow, painful, and at times felt impossible. I battled not just physical limitations, but the mental weight that comes with losing your independence and strength.

Now, I can move. I can push. I can rise—literally and figuratively. This challenge isn’t just about building muscle; it’s about celebrating the fact that I can. It’s a statement of resilience, of reclaiming my body and mind after trauma. Every push-up is a victory over the years I spent stuck, hurting, and healing. I’m doing this for my health—physical and mental—and for anyone who feels like they’re too far gone. You’re not. Keep pushing.

headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.

Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.

The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
