About My Challenge

24 days. 3,307 squats. One goal: stronger bodies, stronger minds.

Those of us who are Softball umpires don’t just stand behind the plate—we squat, focus, reset, and go again. That mindset mirrors mental health: showing up, staying present, and pushing through the tough moments.

I’m taking on 3,307 squats (and cause I like punishment a bunch of push-ups for good measure) to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia. It’s a twist on a familiar challenge—but built around what umpires actually do.

Every squat is a reminder that mental health takes consistency, resilience, and support.

I’m asking you to get behind this:
• Sponsor the challenge (per day, per squat, or flat donation)
• Share it to spread awareness
• Start a conversation about mental health

If you’ve ever benefited from someone checking in, backing you up, or just being there—this is your chance to pay it forward.

Let’s raise the standard for mental health, one squat or push-up at a time

You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to my page.

Every dollar helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.
