Mental Health in Australia

When I was 10 years old my sister commited suicide. She was 18. The effects that can have on a mother, a brother, a daughter growing up with no mum, even just a friend are monumental! This year, it's been 18 years of wondering what life would be like if my sister was still here! Gone as long as she was alive. Being 27 & living longer than your older sister is a weird thing to come to grips with. What was taken can never be replaced & the damage left in her absence. That's why this year I've decided to do the push up challenge. To challenge myself & for my sister, my family & for anyone that has struggled or lost someone to mental health. To break the stigma & raise awareness for mental health in Australia!

You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation.

Every dollar helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.

Supporting headspace Whitsundays

headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.

Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.

The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
