About My Challenge
In 2022 I lost my partner Vicki to suicide. Since then I have battled with grief, depression, PTSD and my own suicidal thoughts, and there have been many times when I have come close to taking my own life. I strongly believe that early prevention through community and connection, and discussions to normalise topics like mental health and suicidal ideation, can save lives in real ways; and that services like Lifeline are vital both across into crisis response for suicidal people, but also to be used as a resource far earlier than on suicidal reaction.
I'm completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to my page.
Every dollar helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.

Supporting Lifeline Canberra ACT
Lifeline Canberra is proud to be a beneficiary of this year’s Push-Up Challenge. Together, Lifeline Canberra and The Push-Up Challenge, aim to raise awareness about mental health and the impact of suicide on our local community.
Funds raised through this challenge enable Lifeline Canberra to continue providing critical 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services, answer more help seeker calls, and ensure any person in Canberra and across Australia who needs support know where and how to find it.
