About My Challenge
Mental Health impacts 1 in 5 or 4.3 million Australians (Black Dog Institute / Australian Institute Of Health And Welfare). The Australian mental health care system is not able to offer everyone the care they need due to a variety of reasons including lack of funding and staffing shortages (Black Dog Institute).
Over 24 days in June I will be taking a part in The Push Up Challenge to fundraise money for Lifeline. All donations will go to Lifeline and help in funding support groups, crisis hotlines and other amazing programs run by the organisation.
I have personally had my own struggles with my mental health and know how under funded and under staffed our healthcare systems are. I want to help raise awareness for mental health, educate on how to support others and help fundraise money to make positive change.
All donations are tax deductible and will help to fund much needed mental health services and initiatives in Australia🧡🧡🧡
