About My Challenge
Young people's mental health is important to me, having supported friends, family, and gone through tough times myself. In my work at headspace Cannington, I run fun, free events like paint & sip bubble tea, bouldering, and self-defence classes, workshops about wellbeing, and yarn with young people and their communities.
I'm being more intentionally active by completing 1,654 movements, some push-ups or alternative exercises like sit-ups and squats in 24 days to raise awareness and break down stigma about wellbeing and seeking support for mental health.

Supporting headspace
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services for 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 175 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
