About Our Challenge
In 2025 my world was shattered when my brother Ben lost his battle with mental health. He was my brother, my friend, my confidant, the person I called for life’s wins, losses, and everything in between.
My parents lost their son. My niece and nephew lost their dad. My husband lost a brother. My girls lost their uncle. And the ripple effect continues to spread far and wide. It always will.
Every single day Ben is loved and remembered by so many people. Nobody wants the mental health monster that took him to ever take anyone else again.
That’s why I’m taking part in The Push-Up Challenge this June, completing 1,654 push-ups across 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia, in honour of Ben. 💙
The full challenge is 3,307 push-ups over 24 days, but participants can choose to complete half (1,654), and exercises can be adapted with alternatives like squats or sit-ups. It’s about showing up, starting conversations, and supporting better mental health — not perfection.
