About My Challenge

As many people know I lost my sister to suicide in 2021 which impacted mine and my family's life in ways we could not have comprehended. In honor of her I am completing the challenge and have set profile picture of me with her during a happy time.

In 2022 I got to work and, on the intranet, had the pushup challenge, I clicked the link to learn more about it and there was number of pushups equal to the amount of people who had lost their lives to suicide in 2021. There was my sister a statistic on the screen but more than that there were thousands of other families how were going through what my family in some way, it was it was a confronting moment while in a professional space. Thankfully a coworker noticed and asked if I wanted to take a walk which in that moment was what I needed.

Due to an injury I am not able to complete 3301 push-up or any type of exercises. However, I am committed to doing exercises set my physio every day and raise money for mental health as it is very close to my heart.
