Pushing forward

In loving memory of Yemaya Grace Balson

 🤍 This June, our family and friends are participating in The Push-Up Challenge in honour of our beautiful Yemaya; a deeply loved daughter, sister, Auntie, and friend. 

🤍 Our goal is to each complete 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia. 

🤍 Together, we are going to help shine the spotlight on the number of lives lost to suicide each year. Help us push for better mental health.

🌻 The Push for Better Foundation aims to engage and educate people in mental and physical health, raise awareness of the mental health issues affecting everyday Australians, and help foster mental wellbeing and fitness. 

🌻 We would be so grateful for your support; if you are able, a tax-deductible donation to our page will help us reach our goal.

Yemaya will always be remembered by her vibrant energy, kindness, devout love for others, and her innate ability to light up any room. Yemaya’s magical energy will continue to be our rainbow reminder on the gloomiest of days.
