About My Challenge

I am taking on the Push for Better Push Up Challenge for the third time, this month with 3,307 push ups, not as a test of strength, but as a statement of purpose. Each push up represents a life lost to suicide, and every rep is a reminder that mental health matters, that struggles are often invisible, and that no one should have to face their darkest moments alone.

This challenge is about far more than physical fitness. It is about showing up every day, especially when motivation fades and life becomes difficult. It is about choosing to keep moving forward when the weight of the world feels heavy. The push ups themselves are simple; what they represent is not. They represent resilience in the face of adversity, courage in moments of uncertainty, and the determination to keep fighting when giving up seems easier.

By committing to 3,307 push-ups, I hope to honour those we have lost, support those who are struggling, and help spark conversations that can save lives. If this challenge encourages even one person to reach out, check in on a friend, or ask for help when they need it, then every push-up will have been worth it.

This is not about strength.

This is about resilience.

This is about remembering.

This is about hope.

This is about showing up.

This is about refusing to give up.

This is about standing up when life knocks you down.

This is about pushing for better.
