About My Challenge
3307 push-ups in June.
Not for fitness. Not for attention. For awareness.
This June, I’m taking on the challenge of completing 3,307 push-ups to help raise awareness for mental health — because too many people are fighting battles nobody can see.
Mental health is something that has personally affected my life. In the past, I’ve struggled with depression myself, and I know how heavy life can feel when you’re carrying things silently. That experience is one of the reasons this challenge means so much to me.
I’m also doing this for my clients at work — many of whom face their own daily mental health challenges, struggles, and personal battles. Working alongside them has shown me just how important support, understanding, patience, and connection truly are. Sometimes the smallest encouragement or conversation can make a bigger difference than we realise.
Every push-up represents resilience, struggle, strength, and the importance of checking in on the people around us. Some days this challenge will be physically tough — but that’s also the point. It’s a reminder that mental battles can be exhausting too, and that nobody should feel like they have to fight them alone.
I want this challenge to encourage conversations around mental health, reduce stigma, and remind people that asking for help is not weakness — it’s strength.
If this challenge gets even one person to reach out, check in on a mate, or feel less alone, then every single push-up is worth it.
