Why I’m pushing 💪

Owning a business can look like freedom and success from the outside.

What people often do not see is the pressure behind it.

I am a business owner, husband and father of four boys 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦. Every day, I feel the responsibility to provide for my family, support the people who rely on me and keep the business moving forward, even when money is tight or things are not going to plan.

Sometimes that pressure feels motivating.

Sometimes it feels like failure.

When your business struggles, it can be difficult not to take it personally. You start questioning whether you are letting down your family, your employees and everyone who believed in you.

Like many men, my usual response is to say nothing, work longer and try to carry it alone.

But mental health struggles are not always visible, and silence is not the same as coping 🧠

That is why I am completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days and raising $1,000 for Lifeline 💙

Lifeline helps Australians facing overwhelming stress, emotional distress and crisis. Their support means people do not have to face their hardest moments alone.

Your donation, whether it is $10, $35 or $100, will help support better mental health outcomes in Australia 🙏

Please donate or share my page. Every contribution helps, and every conversation about mental health makes it a little easier for someone else to speak up.

I’ll do the pushing 💪 I’d be grateful if you could help me reach the goal.

Supporting Lifeline

Lifeline is a national charity providing Australians who are experiencing emotional distress access to 24-hour crisis support, suicide prevention, mental health, and domestic and family violence prevention services.

Lifeline exists to ensure that no person in Australia has to face their toughest moments alone.

Our experience has shown us that it is through connection that we can find hope. That’s why we are available 24 hours a day to listen without judgement to anyone in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, distressed, or experiencing a crisis. Each year, Lifeline receives over 1.3 million contacts to our crisis support services.

By supporting Lifeline, you are ensuring the Lifeline network has the critical technology, resources and people necessary to deliver crisis support, self-led support, and counselling services around the clock.
