About Our Challenge
In June, our Community is taking part in The Push-Up Challenge. We are going to help shine the spotlight on the number of lives lost to suicide each year and raise awareness of mental health. You can create a Team in this Community, join a Team or support someone who is taking part. Help us push for better mental health.
As a school we are aiming to get as many people in our Community as possible to register and take on the Challenge. We're aiming for one million push ups between us - we know it is a lofty target, but we want to prove that huge challenges can be overcome when a lot of people choose to each do a little bit.
Supporting headspace
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services for 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 175 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.

Anna, This donation is my match payment for my upcoming 200th game of umpiring. To mark the milestone, I'll also be wearing a black armband in support of mental health awareness. Inflation is high, but some things are more important than money—supporting good people doing worthwhile things is one of them. I still remember our first proper interaction when you fearlessly came up and asked me if I was okay. It was a thoughtful thing to do, and it put a smile on my face that day. Your empathy and willingness to look out for others will take you a long way. I have no doubt you'll make an excellent psychologist. Best of luck with your Push-Up Challenge. Regards, Raymond
