About Our Challenge
Mel and I are taking on The Push-Up Challenge together, completing 3,307 push-ups as a Daddy/Daughter team to raise funds and awareness for mental health.
Mental health is something that sits very close to the heart of the entire Burnet family. Like so many families, we know what it means to have hard days, heavy mornings, quiet battles, and moments where support, understanding, and connection can make all the difference. This challenge is about more than push-ups. It is about showing up, checking in, and reminding people that nobody should have to carry the weight alone.
For me, doing this with Melodie makes it even more meaningful. Every push-up is a small act of strength, but doing them side by side is something bigger. It is a reminder that resilience is built together. That our kids are watching how we care for ourselves and each other. And that talking about mental health openly, honestly, and without shame matters.
So we are asking our friends, family, and community to get behind us. Donate what you can, share the page, or simply use this as a reminder to check in on someone you love.

Supporting headspace
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services for 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 175 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
