About Our Challenge
This June, we’re taking on The Push Up Challenge to raise awareness and funds for mental health and suicide prevention in Australia.
Between 3 and 26 June, our team will be completing push ups in recognition of the 3,307 lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2024. That number is confronting, and behind it are people, families, friends, colleagues, and communities forever changed.
This is a cause that matters deeply to us. Mental health challenges affect so many people, often quietly, and many of us are taking part because we have seen that impact in our own lives or in the lives of people we care about.
You can support us by making a tax deductible donation to our fundraising page, or by joining our team and taking part in the challenge.
Every dollar helps fund much needed mental health services and initiatives, and helps push for better mental health outcomes in Australia.
Supporting Lifeline Western Melbourne VIC
Lifeline Western Melbourne is one of the beneficiaries of this year’s The Push-Up Challenge. Together, Lifeline and The Push-Up Challenge, aim to raise awareness about mental health and the impact of suicide on Australians.
Funds raised will enable Lifeline Western Melbourne to continue providing their critical 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services, answer more help seeker contacts, and ensure any person in Australia who needs support knows where and how to find it.
