My Push-Up Challenge
This year, I’m taking part in The Push-Up Challenge in memory of someone very special to me.
Mental health is something we don’t talk about nearly enough, and yet it touches so many of us in profound ways. This challenge is more than just push-ups – it’s about breaking down stigma, starting conversations, and raising vital funds and awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.
Every exercise I complete will be for Jacyn & anyone who’s ever struggled in silence. I hope to not only honour his memory, but also to be part of a movement that encourages support, empathy, and action.
Full Disclosure: I’ll actually be doing the exercise circuit instead of solely doing push-ups but I’ll be showing up every day and giving it my all regardless!

Once again Lifeline Melbourne is proud to be part of The Push-Up Challenge, raising awareness for mental health and the impact of suicide in our communities.
Our dedicated volunteers answer over 30,000 calls to Lifeline’s 13 11 14 crisis line each year—providing vital support to people in their darkest moments. Funds raised through The Push-Up Challenge will help us train more Crisis Supporters and expand our education and training programs, giving individuals the skills to recognise and respond to those in crisis—whether that’s a friend, family member, workmate, colleague and anyone across the community.
Lifeline Melbourne has been part of the community providing vital support for over 55 years, and we’re committed to being here for generations to come.
