About Our Challenge
The Push-Ups Challenge is a massive mental health event promoting awareness of and fundraising for mental health across Australia. It’s from the 3rd-26th of June and basically challenges you to do a certain number of push ups every day for 23 days, with the goal being for each individual to complete 3,307 push ups by the end of the month (this is the number of lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2024). We’re taking on this challenge as an Ormond team so everyone will motivate each other to reach their goal, and together we can raise funds for a mental health charity of our choosing (either the Push For Better Foundation, Lifeline, or headspace). There is also the option to substitute push-ups with sit-ups, squats or tailored exercises, or you can choose to aim for half of the push-ups target. It’s a really fun way to get buff, motivate your friends, open conversations around wellbeing, and improve your overall mental health. GET AROUND IT!!!

Funds raised will enable Lifeline Western Melbourne to continue providing their critical 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services, answer more help seeker contacts, and ensure any person in Australia who needs support knows where and how to find it.
