About My Challenge

I'm completing 3,214 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.

This is my 5th year pushing after initiating the Challenge across our workplace community during the pandemic as a means to connect and raise funds for our partners. Initially for Headspace and then Lifeline for the critical work they do.

To be honest I find the push ups the easier part and I'm committed to it. A little harder is the asking for help bit, which we can all be better at. So I'm asking for your help, not for myself although it does provide me with encouragement, but for many who struggle and for the important work needed and undertaken to support them.

You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to my page. laughing

Every dollar helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.

Supporting Lifeline Western Melbourne VIC

Lifeline Western Melbourne is one of the beneficiaries of this year’s The Push-Up Challenge. Together, Lifeline and The Push-Up Challenge, aim to raise awareness about mental health and the impact of suicide on Australians.

Funds raised will enable Lifeline Western Melbourne to continue providing their critical 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services, answer more help seeker contacts, and ensure any person in Australia who needs support knows where and how to find it.
