About My Challenge

I'm completing 3,214 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.

As a high school teacher, I've had a number of former students take their own lives, and the devastating impact of their loss reaches far and wide. It absolutely breaks my heart to know they’ve left behind beautiful families and friends who miss them every day. Mental health and suicide prevention in Australia are deeply important to me as an educator. Encouraging students to engage in this challenge within our school community and talk openly about their own mental health is the least I can do to support this worthwhile cause.

If you would like, you can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to my page. Every dollar helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.

Supporting Lifeline Darling Downs & South West QLD

Lifeline Darling Downs and South West Queensland is proud to be a beneficiary of this year’s The Push-Up Challenge, raising awareness of mental health and the impact of suicide in our communities.

Funds raised will help us continue providing vital face-to-face crisis support, suicide prevention services, and essential community programs. Your support helps to empower people and build stronger, more resilient communities and importantly ensures that more people across the Darling Downs and South West Queensland can access the help they need when they need it most.
