About Us

After our huge success last year, completing 72,000 push ups, raising $1200 and even making Channel 10 News, we are expanding!

Push for change is more than just push ups. We are connecting young people through events, social media and a single goal of making change in their lives.

In June, our Community is taking part in The Push-Up Challenge. We are going to help shine the spotlight on the number of lives lost to suicide each year and raise awareness of mental health. You can create a Team in this Community, join a Team or support someone who is taking part. Help us push for better mental health.

Supporting Lifeline Melbourne VIC

Once again Lifeline Melbourne is proud to be part of The Push-Up Challenge, raising awareness for mental health and the impact of suicide in our communities.

Our dedicated volunteers answer over 30,000 calls to Lifeline’s 13 11 14 crisis line each year—providing vital support to people in their darkest moments. Funds raised through The Push-Up Challenge will help us train more Crisis Supporters and expand our education and training programs, giving individuals the skills to recognise and respond to those in crisis—whether that’s a friend, family member, workmate, colleague and anyone across the community.

Lifeline Melbourne has been part of the community providing vital support for over 55 years, and we’re committed to being here for generations to come.
