In 2018 Prestin's Poppy, John Patterson was late diagnosed with advanced stage IV Prostate Cancer in his 70's, so underwent surgery which resulted in dehumanising complications. This followed by not only his struggle physically, but, emotionally and mentally.
Enthusiastic Prestin didn’t hesitate to throw his arm up to participate in The Push-Up Challenge for his Poppy in heaven, so his Mummy Lee can continue to raise awareness about the importance of reaching out for help day or night in your toughest time, and raise donations to ensure Lifeline's around for at least 60 more years to come.
Following Lee and her kids 2023 Shine A Light Out Of The Shadows walk, they previously raised hundreds of dollars for Lifeline to top up mental health support in Australia to ensure there's someone on the other end of the line in times of despair. Now in 2025 after other ventures throughout Lee's healing process, they've embarked on Lifeline's The Push-Up Challenge starring Prestin, to make sure Lifeline is known as a safe place where you can turn to with anonymity if you are most comfortable, sharing as little or as much as you feel.

Supporting Lifeline South Coast NSW
Lifeline South Coast is one of the beneficiaries of this year’s The Push-Up Challenge. Together, Lifeline and The Push-Up Challenge, aim to raise awareness about mental health and the impact of suicide on Australians.
Funds raised will enable Lifeline to continue providing their critical 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services, answer more help seeker contacts, and ensure any person in Australia who needs support knows where and how to find it.
