Four Dads. One Challenge. 3,214 Push-Ups. Zero Regrets (Mostly).
In a quiet suburban neighbourhood, four dads have come together for a mission of legendary proportions—not for fame, not for fortune, but for the ultimate dad bragging rights. Over the next 23 days, they will conquer 3,214 push-ups. They will struggle. They will sweat. They will question every life choice that led them to this moment.
-
Mike kicks things off with an energetic “Let’s do this!” and proceeds to do exactly 12 push-ups before deciding the couch looks way more comfortable.
-
Rohan, the overachiever, starts strong, cranking out 400 push-ups on day one, only to hit day 11 and ask, “Is there such a thing as a push-up-induced coma?”
-
Neil has no idea what’s going on, but he’s all in. By day 15, he’s convinced his arms are actually made of noodles, but refuses to quit because, “I started this, and I’ll finish it… even if I have to crawl.”
Garrett adopts a “slow and steady” approach, turning each push-up into an Olympic event. He finishes 50 in a day, then rests for 12 hours to “recover,” mostly by napping and googling “Why do I feel like a potato?”
After 23 days, they have collectively completed 3,214 push-ups—a staggering number that would make any gym trainer jealous… if only they’d actually been doing proper form the whole time.
Push-Up Challenge: Dad Edition™—now streaming in every dad’s backyard, featuring questionable techniques, an abundance of snacks, and a lot of accidental nap times.

Supporting Lifeline

Lifeline exists to ensure no person in Australia has to face their toughest moments alone.
Our crisis support services are available 24/7 to listen, without judgement, to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or longs to be heard.
Experience shows us it is through connection that we can find hope. With Australians struggling with cost-of-living pressures, increasing inflation, housing insecurity, global instability, and recovery after extreme weather events, our crisis support services have remained in high demand with our voice and text services receiving up to 4,000 contacts a day from help seekers. Our partnership with The Push Up Challenge plays a vital role in raising funds to support the delivery of suicide prevention and crisis support services at a time where we have never been needed more.
Thank you for supporting Lifeline. Your fundraising is helping to save lives.
