About My Challenge
Push-ups have always been my kryptonite. I've never been able to do them properly.
It’s a particularly bitter pill to swallow when you see the long, horizontal torsos of your Dachshunds lie down and stand up dozens of times every day. A constant reminder of a skill which their master has never mastered himself.
Well doggos, the best push-upperers in the house you shall be no more! 
Yep, I’ve decided to sort out my physical blindspot and what better way to do so than to do challenge myself to complete 3,214 push-ups over the next 3 and a bit weeks as part of The Push-Up Challenge. I’m going to start at a 45 degree angle, and gradually make my way to the ground to join my canine comrades.
I’ll also be joining forces with Liam Anlezark and the Noosa Pirates Rugby League Club, as we raise money for the good people at Headspace Gympie, who help young people in the community develop the type of mental tools that have been insanely valuable for me during my adult life.

headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
