About My Challenge
I am a high school teacher based in WA, completing 3,214 push-ups in 23 days.
3,214 is the number of people who died by suicide in Australia in 2023, this doesn’t paint the whole picture however between January and June of 2023 there was:
Approx. 9000 attempted suicides,
Approx. 17,800 cases suicidal ideation,
Approx. 6205 cases of self injury,
These are only the ones reported.
I am showing my support by participating in this challenge, raising awareness and funds to support better mental health outcomes in Australia. Join us or donate if you can.
