1607 push ups in 23 day. Let's go!
✅ On Thursday 26th June, I completed 1,607 push-ups over 23 days — for a cause that’s deeply personal.
This challenge was about raising awareness and funds for mental health in Australia — and although I’ve hit the target, I’ve decided to keep going six days a week.
Because for many, the real battles don’t end after 23 days.
Over the years, I’ve picked up more than my fair share of visible injuries:
🧿 Nearly lost an eye (scar to prove it)
💥 Dislocated my shoulder
🦶 Fractured the same foot three times, in three different ways
…a history of self-inflicted chaos (some of which you’ll see in the video below).
But what you won’t see are the internal scars — the ones people carry quietly.
So, during June — Mental Health Awareness Month — I made a conscious decision to take care of my own mental and physical health while working remotely and island hopping across Thailand.
I stayed alcohol-free, trained in Muay Thai, got certified in scuba diving, and completed 1,607 push-ups in some of the most random (and painful) locations imaginable:
⛰️ Mountains
🚤 Boats
🪨 Cliff edges
💇🏽 Barber shops
🎱 Pool tables
🚌 Bus stations
🧾 Desks, counters, pavements — and everywhere in between 😅
Why? Because I, too, am going through something I’m not quite ready to share publicly. But this challenge gave me focus, movement, and purpose — and a way to connect with others who may be silently struggling.

🔹 Donate — if this message or cause resonates with you.
🔹 DM me — if you’re struggling, want a shout-out, or just need someone to talk to.
🔹 Fancy choosing my next push-up variation?
💷 £5 / $10 = 5 push-ups
💷 £10 / $20 = 10 push-ups
💷 £50 / $100 = 5 x 10 push-ups
(Yes — I’ll film and post them!)
🧔🏽 Stretch Goal: If we raise £2,500 / $5,000 AUD, I’ll shave off my beard for the first time in 12 years. 😳✂️
And most importantly:
Check in on someone — before Monday 30th June. Ask them how they’re really doing. Offer a dinner, a hug, a walk, or even just a call. Then do it again next month. And the month after.
Let’s keep showing up — not just in campaigns, but consistently, and compassionately.
Thank you for reading.
❤️✌🏽
