Pushing harder than my mum did to make me!
A colleague of mine was affected by suicide resulting in her commitment to put together a team for this push up challenge. The goal being to reach 3214 push-ups representing the number of Australians lost to suicide. That figure is from 2023 which is the most recent data available.
I didn't hesitate to join, this cause, particularly amongst the veteran community is an extremely concerning issue for me.
I plan to tackle my daily target by doing 10 reps on the minute every minute until I'm done. I figure it would be a good way to nurse my worn carcass through this challenge.
