About My Challenge
Hey all! I'm doing 3307 push-ups in 24 days to represent suicide rates in 2024.
I had knee surgery in February, and it's taken a real mental as well as physical toll on me. During the months leading up to surgery and one or two afterwards, something like a push up (amongst many other things) genuinely seemed like an impossible goal. This month I've been getting back on my feet, and I feel so blessed to be able to take part in this challenge.
After seeing people close to me navigating their own mental health jouneys, I feel a real weight with each push-up. It's an honour to be able to this, and I'm thankful that I haven't had to experience firsthand the loss that so many others have. For that, I owe my thanks to God.
