Push ups for better mental and physical health
I’ve decided to take on this challenge, to try and help raise awareness of the daily struggle of having good mental health.
I’ve been impacted by depression et al, and it can be a real struggle, daily. It can often feel like it’s never going to end, and that you have to do this on your own.
BUT, there is help, and there are people that care.
Just check in on your family and friends… you never know when that phone call or text message could change someone’s day, and mind state for the better.
De-stigmatise poor mental health.
Look out for your family and friends
Be kind to each other
Pay each other compliments
Tell your people that you love them
Exercise (even when it hurts to even think about it, because you never feel bad leaving a work out)
Eat well, drink water
&
TRY AND LOVE YOURSELF AND THOSE AROUND YOU.

Supporting headspace Katoomba
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
