2026 Push Up Challenge
Dear friends, I'm completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia. I am part of a wonderful group of colleagues at St. Patrick's College who are pushing together to help this cause.
Did you know that the number of push ups we complete this year matches the number of people who have died from suicide in 2024? This is a huge number!
As life becomes increasingly more challenging due to a combination of world events, personal challenges along with work, family and societal pressures, we need to band together to open the communication lines and increase awareness of mental health situations that we all encounter at some time or another. The Push Up Challenge is a fantastic event for raising awareness, funds and building connections within the workplace and doing something that physically challenges us and reminds us each day that there is someone struggling. All funds raised will go to Lifeline Australia ... if you can help in any small way, it all adds up and goes towards this cause.
