About My Challenge This Year
This year my mum Kellie Henderson passed away after a multi-year long battle with cancer, and I decided to dedicate this year to her, for showing her strength, courage, compassion and bravery during such a long fight.
This challenge is made to help support those who are struggling with or have struggled with mental health challenges, one cause of which is grief over the loss of a loved one, which this year certainly warrants for my family in particular, along with many other families outside of my own who are struggling with their own losses.
This one’s for you mum, I love you and I’ll always be looking up to you as you watch over us.
