Push Ups for Positivity

I'm taking on The Push-Up Challenge โ€” Australia's largest mental health and fitness event โ€” by completing 1,654 push-ups over 24 days (3โ€“26 June 2026) to raise awareness and vital funds for better mental health outcomes across Australia. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿงก

Every push-up honours the thousands of lives lost to suicide each year in our country. By going for the half target (half of the full 3,307 reps), I'm pushing my physical and mental limits while shining a light on an issue that affects us all. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, this challenge welcomes everyone โ€” you can even swap push-ups for squats, sit-ups, or any movement that works for you.

Why am I doing this?

Because 1 in 4 young Australians face mental health challenges, and too many people still struggle in silence. Funds raised through The Push-Up Challenge support incredible organisations like headspace, providing free, confidential mental health support for young people aged 12โ€“25 โ€” including counselling, work and study help, and more. Last year alone, headspace supported over 160,000 young people nationwide.8ee11b
