I'm going again....
I'm completing 3,249 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness for mental health support, but specifically for children and teenagers of Australia.
Most will know the personal tragedy my family endured two years ago on 21st April, with the sad loss of Florence, and I thank everyone for the love and support shown through this difficult time.
Florence seemed a happy go lucky teenager, an A grade student that loved to play football and play with her friends, but all was not as it seemed to the outside world and then it was too late.
Unfortunately, the number of children and teenage suicides globally is growing exponentially, and the vast majority didn't think that they had anyone to talk to, or the confidence to confide in someone to ask for help. This simply cannot keep on happening to the future of this world, it's an incredible loss to humankind, and the pain it leaves behind is excruciating.
I'll be supporting Headspace again this year, who are the National Youth Mental Health Foundation. Headspace provides early intervention mental health services to 12–25-year-olds.
Whilst this is a global issue, you have to start somewhere, so every dollar raised helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes here in Australia.
I want this year to be more about awareness, and encourage you all to share this with your loved ones and today hug those young [and old] just that little bit tighter!

headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
