About My Push-Up Challenge
Hello,
Between the 3rd - 26th June I'm completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
This number represents the number of lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2024 (the most recent available data).
As some of you may be aware, I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, which brings with it a variety of physical and mental challenges. I am lucky to have support around me, but there are many others who find themselves isolated and alone in their time of need.
You can do your bit to help those providing vital mental health support by making a tax-deductible donation via my fundraising page.
With this in mind, I have chosen that funds raised by me be donated to LIFELINE - their aim is to ensure no person in Australia must face their toughest moments alone.
Every donation helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.
