I’m joining the push up challenge.
I'm completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
I’m dedicating the push up challenge to TP and his family. A great friend and inspiration that has gone too soon leaving me asking so many questions. What more could be done?
TP was the strong guy; super capable, clever, engaging, devoted to family and friends and bloody great fun.
He pushed me and challenged me on health and fitness. He encouraged me to get on a bike and join him in his happy place. While I would gasp for air he would talk freely cycling with ease. Even with my poor form it was rewarding and a pleasure to be on a ride with him.
When we rode we spoke enthusiastically of exciting challenges that for him would be easy and me, a stretch. I was sold on the many ideas and challenges: yet always unsure if I was capable of keeping up.
I hate push ups. I’m crap at them. So this time I'm challenging myself in honour of TP and I will keep up and drop for 3,307 push ups in 24 days across June.
He will be laughing at me for doing this as he would probably have done double just to keep me in check. 😂
This is a challenge for me but nothing compared to what TP went through. So let’s help and join this great cause by throwing a few $$ their way or join the challenge yourself with a push up or two.

Supporting Lifeline Geelong VIC
Lifeline Geelong is one of the beneficiaries of this year’s The Push-Up Challenge. Together, Lifeline and The Push-Up Challenge, aim to raise awareness about mental health and the impact of suicide on Australians.
Funds raised will enable Lifeline Geelong to continue providing their critical 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services, answer more help seeker contacts, and ensure any person in Australia who needs support knows where and how to find it.
