About My Challenge

I'm completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness (and ideally funds) for mental health in Australia.

I was first confronted with the idea of suicide when I was about 10; my mum's close friend was visiting from out of town, her son had taken his life.

Since then I've had my friends and family touched by this disease; losing a sister-in-law, my mate's brother-in-law. I was there when my high school friend who was living with us at the time, made an attempt on their life.

I also know of others that have relied on Lifeline, and similar ogranisations and I am happy to be able to see them, spend time with them, and laugh with them. Very grateful.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm concerned whether I can even count to 3307, nevermind doing the push-ups. :/

So please, consider donating. I'd love your support - $2 would be amazing. If you can skip that cuppa, or train in for a day, perhaps you can take that savings and put it towards a tax-deductible donation to this page!

Every dollar helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives, including Lifeline, and Headspace. :-) Thank you!!
